I was going through my e-mail this evening and came upon an e-mail from Dolly at “allaboutlemon”, one of my favorite blogs. And lo & behold, Ms. Dolly thinks I am a “Very Inspiring Blogger”!!! Dolly nominated me for an award named…..drum roll please……The Very Inspiring Blogger Award. (cue loud & extended applause)

Now I don’t know how much I actually inspire, piss off would be more like it but….I can’t see myself turning down anything from a beautiful woman. So I accept this award from Ms. Dolly because I respect & admire her talents and her blog. OH, and she has this daughter named Chlly, who has a killer artistic talent. Chlly created 4 cartoons of me, which 2 are posted right here on my blog.

Now in accepting this award, I must discharge my duties of sharing 7 things about myself. So here goes:

1).  I am a sexual freak, kinky & perverted. Don’t be shocked….the rules state to reveal myself!!

2). I hate drinking plain water, it taste yucky.

3). Writing comes so very easy to me. Something grabs my attention and I sit at the keyboard and like magic, my fingers tickle the keys and,…. presto chango….I have hacked my way to an expressive post.

4). I drive way fast, but only on the open highway. 90/9 is common for me when highway driving. No…never been ticketed for speeding.

5). I refuse to evah eat fast food. Evah Nevah.

6). I have 47 wrist watches. I buy & wear watches like some women buy & wear shoes.

7). I am a clean freak. I vacuum everyday because of dust allergy’s, and I am super clean, a regular “Felix Unger“.

Now comes the fun part….I get to nominate……7….or 8……or 9……blogs and their owners.

1). Weaving Among The Stars…….Rose: is a Complex Enigma; unable to fully describe easily in text. An unemployed Disabled Veteran, part time writer, photographer, full time student and practitioner of esoteric spirituality.

2). Motley News……Michelle: I am a visually-minded person, though, therefore I prefer to express myself with photos and videos.  Pictures do say a thousand words.  I am a member of the Mensa Society, and do enjoy learning.  Humans have a gift of an unlimited ability to learn, and I choose to embrace this.

I am a firm believe of equal rights, human rights, and simply doing what is right.  I also believe in the truth….

I am addicted to the news, especially politics.  Political satire and humor is some of my favorite types of reads.

3). 3CHICSPOLITICO……..Southern & Ametia & Rihyrah: Ametia, Rikyrah & SouthernGirl2, invite you to join 3Chics Politico on grand adventures in the world of politics, culture, humor, music, & the spiritual…

There’s a whole lot of wisdom and some  humility in this lively trio.  Our claim to fame is that we do Not know it all, so we do welcome debate.

4). Silently Heard Once……Silently: My parents named me Kimberly Wilhelmina Floria, but I am Silent Kim because  I am a silent voice, making a mild attempt to be heard silently.  In this fast past world,  I am an illusionist that sees the future ahead, yet I am always a pace behind.  I think, I feel, I believe therefore I write what I know from common sense, that is not always common.  I will let you ride upon my tender wings and allow you to explore the heights and depths of my mentality. If you get lost I will find you and bring you back. After all I am just like you unique and one of a kind. I am silently trying to be heard in a loud world. Welcome to my world where even I am invisibly seen.

5). ohmymuse….Kelly: Hello my name is Kelly Ann! I would like to be a writer and do what so many great authors have done, by taking readers on a journey as an escape and an adventure. I love to read, write, sing, dance, act, decorate, party plan, and cook. I am currently a sales associate for a builder, but I am a lyricist and writer on the side and once I was an amateur actress in New York. 

6). Life As An Art Form…..SomerEmpress: I am a woman, wife, mother, writer, activist, educator, small business woman, and part-time fitness instructor. I have many interests, few hobbies, and a passion for Life that is probably unparalleled. I believe that we are here to learn lessons in this thing called Life, and that if we are patient and humble enough, we might also learn some important lessons about ourselves in the process.

7). Work The Dream……DanLrene:

Ever since I was a little girl, I was told I was a dreamer. I can remember report cards with “day dreams” written on it. I think dreams are what keep us going. Without dreams…we have no hope.

We all have dreams of what we want out of life. I remember Laverne on Laverne and Shirley saying her dream was to have a purple cashmere sweater. Well, our dream is to own land in the country and have a simple life style unencumbered by so much of what is in the world today.

I love to write and have written under the name “danLrene” for years. And hopefully will continue to write for many more years.  But, please feel free to call me Deb…that is my real name.

8). The OkieProgressive……There are 13 writers of this blog….There’s a bunch of us on a FB group page: Lawton/Ft Sill Progressives. This is a gathering where people with liberal and/or progressive world views can network and share. WELCOME!  These are some of the things we post there so this is a group thing here too.

9). Mashed Potato Bulletin…….Mashed: My academic and research background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and a Master’s of Science in Environmental Science with research in coastal and marine habitats and published work in the area of marine mammal research. Professionally, my background includes work in public health, environmental health and emergency response planning. I have lived, worked and traveled throughout much of North America, Central America and Europe. In addition, I hold on loosely, at least, to aspirations of fiction writing.

10). Penny Liberty………Penny: I grew up with 11 brothers and sisters and I love people, all people. I like quirky people, serious people, funny people and let’s not forget the colorful people in the world. I like interesting, especially in people. I find that it really doesn’t matter where or what the person comes from, I believe each life is a storybook. One of my greatest loves is history, so I will be sharing that with you. Join me on this journey, have fun, kick up your heels and just talk frankly. I will do the same.

Ok, that’s it for now, but i retain the right to come back at a later date and time to continue passing this award forward to those i believe to be deserving. I’m stopping now for fear of making you all read too much!!!
