Deep fried foods are part of my culture, part of what I grew up with, and in a way a part of who I am; because it is part of my history. Intrinsic to me, I find not only the taste of fried foods appealing but the smell of the fat heating up in a fryer takes me on a long road back to home, to my mother's tiny kitchen.

I dislike onions with a passion but for one exception. Onion rings. When I laid eyes on these, my mouth began watering and I was struck with the sudden desire to get a nice order of greasy, messy onion rings and eat EVERY SINGLE ONE. I copied the recipe and hope to try this some night.
Please let me know how this turns out…I absolutely love all things onion, but rings are my favorite. glad you liked this recipe.
