Lets travel back in time to the bond hearing sham that happened about a little over a week ago. Remember the great circus that was arranged by Mark O’Mara, George Zimmerman’s attorney? How Mr. O’Mara had Zimmerman’s family appear by cell phone for “their safety”? Remember how these lying assholes testified under oath that they were indigent? How there was no money for a high (normal) bail?
ORLANDO, Florida (AP) — The attorney for the shooter accused of killing an unarmed black teen says a website created to raise money for his legal defense has raised more than $200,000.
Mark O’Mara said on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 Thursday night that he learned about the money on Wednesday and will inform a judge at a Friday hearing.
George Zimmerman, who has been charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 26 shooting of Trayvon Martin, was released from jail this week after paying 10 percent of $150,000 bail.
O’Mara says the bail amount may have been higher if the judge knew Zimmerman had raised $200,000.
The website used to raise the money has since been shut down, but O’Mara said he’ll likely start a new defense fund for Zimmerman.
O’Mara did not immediately return a Thursday evening phone message by The Associated Press.
In my unhumble opinion, the entire Zimmerman family are nothing more than a bunch of lying racist coward crackers. No wait, I apologize to crackers, saltines are much better the the sub-humans who are a pert of this fiasco. The Zimmerman family are a bunch of lying racist coward caucasians.
The justice system bent over backwards to afford these lying asses, an entire family of liars, the benefit of the doubt, without first checking into the family finances. The judge is an idiot. Zimmerman’s attorney is a lying asshole who should be brought up on ethics charges for lying. Zimmerman himself should be jailed immediately until another bond hearing is scheduled and held before this same stupid judge.
Justice is not only blind in Florida, justice is also stupid as hell.

No way Zimmerman’s lawyer did not know about the money that was raised. I mean really! I agree the lawyer should be brought up on ethics charges. The entire Zimmerman klan & the lawyer has game and think they can play the system. Zimmerman needs to locked up ASAP. And WTF is wrong with the judge in the case? $150,000 bond? It was a slap in the face. There is no equal justice for African Americans in this country. The country is racist as hell.

Firstly: Let me say that I have no doubt that Zimmerman DOES deserve to be convicted on second degree murder and I was down protesting for his arrest at Allen AME church and then Ft. Mellon Park a month ago before he was arrested because I am an Orlando local and even though I happen to be white I was still very offended that this Zimmerman guy seemed to be getting away with murdering a black kid whose only “crime” was “walking while black”.
This said however, as someone who works as a consultant to Democratic candidates here in Central Florida, I have looked up his voter registration record already and FYI: he filed his voter registration as “Hispanic” not “White” under “race” at the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections office and he does NOT consider himself to be white.
You can argue race vs. ethnicity until the cows come home but the man does NOT appear to be racially “white”, he has brown skin and Hispanic physical features which are a mix of aboriginal peoples from Peru and Caucasian.
As someone with a lot of Cuban friends that I’ve known for a long time, I agree that YES there are people who can be both ethnically Hispanic AND racially “white” – I know a number of them – just as there are people who can be both ethnically Hispanic AND racially “black” but the vast majority of ethnically Hispanic people are neither racially white nor racially black – they are racially Hispanic as well.
This does NOT mean Zimmerman isn’t racist, very clearly he is if you listen to the 911 tape but he does not consider himself to be racially white. Who says you have to be white to be a racist?
Next: Under Florida law, he is entitled to bail unless someone can make a showing that he poses a significant ongoing threat to the public and/or that he is a flight risk, and/or that the potential sentence is either life in prison without the possibility of parole or death which is not this case.
They’ve taken his gun and his passport, they have him under GPS monitoring – he’s not going anywhere and he isn’t being treated any differently than other accused murderers here in Florida.
Bail should have been higher but before you go insulting the judge and the defense attorney you really don’t know what they knew at the time of the bail hearing and what George Zimmerman knew or what George Zimmerman told his attorney and when.
Your really can’t say that the attorney has violated bar ethics – that’s simply a wild unsubstantiated allegation. As for the $200,000.00 – Zimmerman’s defense will easily spend every dime of that and more, I’m sure Mr. OMara’s fee will easily take half of that amount, we know where $15,000.00 went on bail and then he will no doubt spend a great deal on experts and investigation eating up the balance so there won’t be any “windfall” for Mr. Zimmerman, perhaps for his attorney – but Zimmerman and his family will end up broke and Zimmerman will end up serving 30 to life in Raiford.
