Trayvon Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump lambasted Geraldo Rivera Sunday evening for the Fox News personality continuing to label the late teenager’s attire on his final night as “thugwear.”
Visibly frustrated with Rivera’s latest comments on The O’Reilly Factor Friday evening, Crump said Rivera’s own son would be upset with his father again continuing to criticize Martin’s attire on the night George Zimmerman shot and killed him.
“You give a license to everybody to say if a black man is walking in his neighborhood, going to the store with his hoodie up, you can shoot him,” Crump said. “And you can’t do that. It’s wrong anywhere. There’s no justification for that, and the last thing I will say is this, Geraldo. You’re going to –- you’re embarrassing your son again with these statements.”
Jerry Rivers has embarrassed himself for years….starting when he changed his name from Jerry Rivers to Geraldo Rivera.
What a racist asstroll.
