Until Sean Hannity has an in depth interview with Trayvon Martin, I could give 2 rats asses what the fuck george Zimmerman has to say.
On Wednesday night, *Sean Hannity* is devoting the entire hour of his show to his interview with *George Zimmerman*. Accused of second-degree murder after the *Trayvon Martin* shooting, Zimmerman is sitting down for an interview for the first time.
According to Fox News, Zimmerman will “open up about what happened the night of Trayvon Martin’s death and his experience in the aftermath of the fatal shooting.” His defense attorney, Mark O’Mara, will also be part of the show, answering questions about the case overall — as well as addressing the rumors swirling around Zimmerman’s soliciting funds online and his hidden finances that resulted in a second bond hearing.
As you may recall, that second hearing concluded with Zimmerman’s bond being set at $1 million. Meanwhile, those in the public have been piecing together what they can of the case as prosecutors continue to release batches of evidence.
The interview airs tonight at 9pmET.
Hannity interviewed both Zimmerman and his attorney, Mark O’Mara, for an episode that will air on Wednesday night. A press release said that “Zimmerman will open up about what happened the night of Trayvon Martin’s death and his experience in the aftermath of the fatal shooting.”
It’s a definite coup for Hannity, though not an entirely surprising one. He spoke with Zimmerman off the record in April, when Zimmerman bucked the advice of his attorneys and got in touch with the Fox News host. Hannity refused to divulge the contents of their conversation. But he did say that he and his team had been pursuing an interview with Zimmerman for weeks in order to get “his side of the story.” He also conducted a relatively sympathetic interview with Zimmerman’s father.
Moreover, Hannity has opined that there might have been “some overcharging” in the case against Zimmerman, who was charged with second-degree murder.
News of the interview came a day after Fox News denied a report that Hannity had offered to pay Zimmerman’s legal fees.

Fox News Denies Sean Hannity Offered To Pay For George Zimmerman’s Legal Fees
Global Grind, the news website owned by hip hop mogulRussell Simmons, posted an article claiming that Fox News host Sean Hannity offered to pay for the legal defense fund ofGeorge Zimmerman, the man accused of shooting and killing Trayvon Martin earlier this year.
The article is based on transcripts of jailhouse phone calls in which Zimmerman is speaking in coded language to friends and family.
An FNC spokesperson tells TVNewser “Sean Hannity has never offered to pay any legal fees or any fee associated with George Zimmerman.”
In one of the transcripts highlighted by Global Grind, Zimmerman explains that an “SH” has offered money for his defense fund, and later explains to his friend how to reach him. Global Grind says that it confirmed with a “rock solid source” that the email address referenced in the call is one used by Hannity. FNC’s statement refutes that claim.
In April, it was revealed that Hannity had spoken to Zimmerman over the phone. Hannity explained that phone call at the time, saying:
Now, before we continue tonight, I want to set the record straight about a couple of things. Now, for a few weeks we have been pursuing an interview with Mr. Zimmerman to give him a chance to tell his side of the story. Now, yesterday, I was contacted by an individual that we in fact believe was George Zimmerman. He reached out to me, we spoke on the phone about his case and I agreed not to report on the contents of that conversation. That’s it.
A Fox News spokesperson told Mediaite that there was no connection between Zimmerman and Hannity:
“Sean Hannity has never offered to pay any legal fees or any fee associated with George Zimmerman.”
The report in the GlobalGrind claims a study of the conversations Zimmerman had from jail support his coded claim that Hannity offered to pay his legal expenses.
In a later email with “Scott,” Zimmerman discusses reaching out to Hannity directly from prison. “Scott” notes that they must keep Hannity at “arm’s length.” The GlobalGrind claims that they are certain Zimmerman was speaking of Hannity when he was talking about his legal fees.
GlobalGrind spent this morning trying to confirm the identity of “SH.” A rock solid source has told us that the personal email address for “SH” that George Zimmerman gives to his friend, Scott, is in fact the personal email address for Sean Hannity, thus confirming that “SH” is in fact the Fox News host.
The FNC statement refutes this claim.
Hannity admitted in April that he took an off-the-record call from Zimmerman before he had been charged with the killing of Martin. Hannity told his audience that he had the conversation but agreed not to discuss the particulars of their conversation on the air:
One of the reasons cited in the press conference was an alleged conversation that George Zimmerman had with me. Before we continue tonight, I want to set the record straight about a couple of things. Now, for a few weeks we have been pursuing an interview with Mr. Zimmerman to give him a chance to tell his side of the story. Yesterday, I was contacted by an individual we believe was George Zimmerman. He reached out to me and we spoke on the phone about his case, and I agreed not to report on the contents of that conversation. That’s it. I know nothing about his relationship with his now former attorneys.
As I stated above, when Trayvon Martin is able to sit with Sean Hannity and give HIS side of the story, I could give a fuck what racist murderer George Zimmerman or his shyster lawyer Mark O’Mara have to say.
Justice 4 Trayvon.
