While my prayers are with all the victims, knowing a 6-year-old went down like this is unbearable to think about. You’ve been hammering away at gun control for awhile. Keep up the good fight!
You know what Slayer, it ain’t even gun control, America just needs common sense gun laws. NO human being should be able/allowed to go online & order 6000 bullets. Why in heaven earth & hell does no red flag go off when Holmes orders 6K rounds of ammo? If I walk in a book store and buy certain books, a red flag goes off, but this ass can access enough ammunition to arm Syria and it get delivered to his door by UPS?
Makes perfect sense to me. But we have so many powerful lobbying forces and too many dumb Americans stopping us from enacting common sense solutions on so many fronts. Knowing President Obama, I bet he’ll have the guts to take a stab at pushing through some sane gun laws in his second term.
IF, nobody makes significant changes fast, this will happen again. And again. And again. Until some big wig gun lobbyist or some top dog in the NRA gets killed by a gun. Then shit will change.
