Two attendees at the Republican National Convention were thrown out of the convention center in Tampa on Tuesday after throwing nuts at a black CNN camerawoman and saying, “this is how we feed the animals.”

CNN reported that multiple witnesses saw it happen, and police immediately removed the two people from the premises.

Talking Points Memo then reached out to CNN, which confirmed that an incident had taken place in a statement it later sent to The Huffington Post.

“CNN can confirm there was an incident directed at an employee inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum earlier this afternoon,” the statement read. “CNN worked with convention officials to address this matter and will have no further comment.” There was no immediate mention of the attack on CNN’s air.

The convention condemned the incident in a statement, saying, “Two attendees tonight exhibited deplorable behavior. Their conduct was inexcusable and unacceptable. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated.”

The incident would be ugly anywhere, but it is especially troubling for a party whose nominee attracted 0 percent of the black vote in a recent NBC poll.

Tampa, Florida (CNN) – Two people were removed from the Republican National Convention Tuesday after they threw nuts at an African-American CNN camera operator and said, “This is how we feed animals.”

Multiple witnesses observed the exchange and RNC security and police immediately removed the two people from the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

The convention released a statement saying, “Two attendees tonight exhibited deplorable behavior. Their conduct was inexcusable and unacceptable. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated.”

CNN also acknowledged the incident, saying, “CNN can confirm there was an incident directed at an employee inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum earlier this afternoon. CNN worked with convention officials to address this matter and will have no further comment.”

The convention began its first full session on Tuesday after being delayed a day by what was then Tropical Storm Isaac. It continues through Thursday when Mitt Romney is expected to accept the party’s nomination as its presidential candidate.

These Americans dont even understan that Puerto Rico is an American commonwealth. They see a Latino woman and they went buck wild. Like kids in a class room when the teacher leaves the room. They threw peanuts at a Black female camera woman and said… “this is how we feed animals”… We have people like this deciding who will lead America?

You can tell by Preibus’ face that he just knows the media is going to have a field day with this one.

Black people who call themselves “Republican” are as stupid as chickens calling themselves friends of Colonel Sanders.

Here’s MY advice to any and all TeaTardedRepubliCANTS, GOPretenders, Conselfishservatives & Reich Wing Nuts: Join Us in returning sanity back into politics and America.

If we ever needed to vote & vote DEMOCRATIC, we sure do need to vote DEMOCRATIC now. For us (Black America) the right to vote is not just a Constitutional matter but a right borne out of struggle, out of sacrifice and in some cases out of death. Think for a moment where we are in time and you will understand why: ”If we never ever needed to vote DEMOCRATIC, we sure do need to vote DEMOCRATIC NOW!!”
