Romney criticizes Obama in wake of embassy attacks. Republican challenger Mitt Romney sought to portray President Barack Obama as weak on foreign policy Wednesday after violent attacks on U.S. diplomatic missions in the Middle East. Obama steered clear of the political fight, declaring as commander in chief that “justice will be done” in response to the deaths of four Americans in Libya.
Romney used the attacks as an opening to assail Obama during an appearance in swing state Florida, accusing the administration of sending “mixed signals to the world” and failing to lead in the face of violence.
Obama avoided engaging his campaign rival during an appearance in the White House Rose Garden with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Addressing the nation and the world, he said there was “absolutely no justification for this kind of senseless violence — none.” He was responding to the Tuesday night attack that killed U.S. ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three American members of his staff.

Romney Seeks Political Advantage in Mideast Violence. Deadly attacks on American embassies in Egypt and Libya elicited joint condemnation on the presidential political trail, but Republican nominee Mitt Romney also sought to turn the foreign crisis into a domestic campaign issue.
The attacks were perpetrated by armed Islamic protesters upset over the contents of an anti-Islamic film. The film, shot by an Israeli based in Southern California, is being promoted by Terry Jones, a Florida-based Christian pastor who prompted riots in Afghanistan after threatening to hold a Quran burning.
Romney, reacting to a statement distributed by the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, issued a statement to reporters on Tuesday night blasting the Obama administration for their reaction to the initial unrest.
“I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi,” he said inn an E-mail to reporters. “It’s disgraceful that the Obama administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.”

2 things, 1 grammar, 2 yes the Palestinians have refuse to have become a nation, but I think it is important to look at the deals/treaties/ or whatever agreement they would have to sign in order to become one. Such things include giving up land where the Israelis illegally (according to international law) have built settlements. In other words, signing away land the UN recognizes as Palestinian in the West Bank. The want a country, they just refuse Israeli terms.
