It will be more than a year of lying, cheating the system and removing judges not liked by the defense team but in June, on the 10th, of 2013, George Zimmerman will face the Trayvon Martin family in a court of law.
George Zimmerman’s murder trial for the shooting of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin will commence on June 10, 2013, according to theOrlando Sentinal.
Click Orlando reports that Zimmerman was not present at the hearing where the trial date was set.

SANFORD, Fla. — A new judge will hear how close lawyers are to being ready for trial in the murder case of a Florida neighborhood watch volunteer accused of shooting an unarmed teenager.
George Zimmerman, charged with second-degree murder, is not expected to be in court Wednesday for the procedural hearing.
Judge Debra S. Nelson was appointed to the case in late August after an appeals’ court found that the former judge made disparaging remarks about Zimmerman’s character and advocated for additional charges against him during a bond hearing.
The 29-year-old is charged with shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in February. Zimmerman has claimed self-defense and is pleading not guilty.
A hearing is also set for Friday for the judge to hear arguments on several new motions.
The time it has taken to bring this murderer to trial is disgusting. Lets hope it is a short trial, an even shorter deliberation, ending with a guilty on all counts verdict.

Thank you for not forgetting about Trayvon! Unfortunately, much of the media seems to have moved on.
Oh don’t you worry, here at this blog, we will NEVER forget that there needs to be Justice4Trayvon. Enjoy a safe & fun weekend Matthew.
This case just breaks my heart. If Trayvon were my son? I’d be on full tactical. I’d be praying they’d cut this guy loose so that I could dispense justice at a time and place of my own choosing. They’d have better luck finding Jimmy Hoffa by the time the blood dried. I do no possess the grace and spiritual strength of this youngster’s parents. They are truly amazing people.
As a citizen, I just can’t get behind capital punishment. As long as the person with the most money walks, it just doesn’t work.
My only reply is that George Zimmerman needs to join his victim, Trayvon Martin. George needs to be in the exact same place as Trayvon. Period.
I agree with you all. Hoping for a speedy trial (after 6/13), with the truth being revealed and ending in a guilty verdict for George Zimmerman. Thereby justice prevailing. Stand your ground and self defense claims to be brought out in real court not to be true. I do not believe that he should get the death penalty (I do believe in it), but for this crime and for all the lying and deceit, he does deserve a hefty sentence of jail. I am curious, as a person who believes in capital punishment, (your words), why do you not think this case is a death penalty case? What about this case, in your thinking, makes it a case that should not make Zimmerman right for death?
If the system works as it should, the wait will be worth it. Nothing will bring Travon back but his killer will be behind bars.
Yeah…but I wonder if living is too good for him.
My friend, I am afraid I am a pacifist. I can not be a party to murder even for one who takes a life. Don’t feel that life should be rosey for them, and life in prison is when they belong.

Nobody has a right, Barbara, to get “very upset with you”, over your choices. Thats exactly like people who get upset over a woman’s right to choose having a baby or aborting a fetus. That is a personal choice that is NOT the business of anyone but the woman/man involved. Capital punishment is a personal choice about what each person believes. End Of Story.
