If you aren't able to personally provide shelter and supplies to those affected by Hurricane Sandy, it doesn't mean you can't help at all. There are many organizations along the East Coast that are providing shelter, food and other supplies to victims of superstorm Sandy.

One way to help is by donating to the Red Cross. All donations will provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance to those affected by the storm.

Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted Messes Up 33,000 Records for Voters, Ohio Voters Won't Receive Ballots

The deadline for voter registration and address changes was Oct. 9, but Husted's office didn't send about 33,000 recently updated registration records to local elections officials until this week.

It's not clear how many absentee ballot applications overall were rejected because county elections officials didn't have some voters' current addresses, the newspaper said....

The problem, which wasn't caught until roughly a week ago, was traced to a BMV website that lets users update their information and is meant to transfer that data, said Geoff Dutton, a spokesman for the state Department of Public Safety, which includes the BMV.

We are three days from one of the most important elections during my lifetime. We are at a real crossroads for women and coming generations. There is never a perfect candidate, but one can and will take our country back in time fifty years.
