In 2011, we evaluated a similar statement about Social Security and gave it a relatively rare rating — “true but false” — which seemed to please no one.
Maybe this post will explain to some uninformed Americans that Social Security is a SELF FUNDED government program, and as such, is not related to the deficit.....if they could read & comprehend. Thank you The Fifth Column for this information.
