Shrink Government By Abolishing The House Of Representatives

Yes. I strongly believe The House Of Representatives is a waste of taxpayer money and serves a purpose only to obstruct the proceedings of government.

It took the Senate a matter of hours last night to pass The Tax Relief Extension Bill with an 89 Yays to 8 Nays vote. The House Of Representatives have informed the press it could be two days before they even reach the point of voting on the The Tax Relief Extension Bill, because they intend to go through the The Tax Relief Extension Bill, with a fine tooth lice comb.

If they find anything they don’t agree with, they will make amendments, then vote on THAT amended version of the The Tax Relief Extension Bill, then send it BACK to The Senate….for another Senate vote.

This is called The Washington Political Game. While America hangs in the balance, The Tax Relief Extension Bill goes back and forth between both Houses Of Congress. Why?

The House Of Representatives is run by a bunch of Un American TeaTardedRepubliCANT Pseudo-Freudian Psycho-Sexual  Secret-Whore Pro-caucasian Pro-Racist Anti-LGBT Anti-Feminist  Reich Wing GOPretender Conselfishservative NRA-Gun Loving Nut Bag racist caucasians, who think THEY won the election on November 6th, 2012. Thats why.

They didn’t. They think they did.

My suggestion is to abolish the TeaTardedRepubliCANT Pseudo-Freudian Psycho-Sexual  Secret-Whore Pro-caucasian Pro-Racist Anti-LGBT Anti-Feminist  Reich Wing GOPretender Conselfishservative NRA-Gun Loving Nut Bag racist caucasian Party led House Of Representatives. Their primary mission is to obstruct government business.

The House Of Representatives does not care if America is successful on the world stage. The House Of Representatives does not give a damn about whether American citizens, who voted for them in the 2010 mid term elections, will pay a higher tax rate than millionaires & billionaires.

The House Of Representatives is NOT concerned that middle class families who are out of work, may not be able to pay their rent or their light bill because the House Of Representatives allows unemployment insurance to expire.

We don’t need The House Of Representatives. There would be a smoother running government system without The House Of Representatives. Money saved from salaries, perks, committee budgets and just plain House Of Representatives waste, would bolster bringing down the deficit. Not by much but every tiny bit saved, does help.

An example of waste: It will ultimately take The House Of Representatives two days to accomplish something The Senate did in hours. Not 24 to 48 hours but in a few hours.

Just think of all the cash saved if there is NO House Of Representatives with their wasteful Washington spending. Imagine the legislation sitting in The House Of Representatives, tabled & shoved to the side, because The House Of Representatives don’t like The Presidents skin color, that would finally be voted on and put into play. Presidential Appointments & Nominations that The House Of Representatives refuses to even bring to the House floor.

That is not the way the American government should work.

TeaTardedRepubliCANTS desire to shrink government. Make government smaller & less intrusive in everyday American lives. Abolish The House Of Representatives and you do just that.

Make ‘Em Get A Real Job.

From The Washington Post:

The Senate approved a bipartisan agreement early Tuesday morning to let income taxes rise sharply for the first time in two decades, fulfilling President Obama’s promise to raise taxes on the rich and avoiding the worst effects of the “fiscal cliff.” The agreement, brokered by Vice President Biden and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), passed 89 to 8 in a highly unusual New Year’s morning vote. It now heads to the House, where leaders have not guaranteed passage but top officials believe it could win passage in the next few days.

The agreement primarily targets taxpayers who earn more than $450,000 per year, raising their rates for wages and investment profits. At the same time, the deal would protect more than 100 million households earning less than $250,000 a year from income tax increases scheduled to take effect Jan. 1.

From President Obama:

“Leaders from both parties in the Senate came together to reach an agreement that passed with overwhelming bipartisan support today that protects 98 percent of Americans and 97 percent of small business owners from a middle class tax hike. While neither Democrats nor Republicans got everything they wanted, this agreement is the right thing to do for our country and the House should pass it without delay.”

“This agreement will also grow the economy and shrink our deficits in a balanced way – by investing in our middle class, and by asking the wealthy to pay a little more.”

“What’s more, today’s agreement builds on previous efforts to reduce our deficits. Last year, I worked with Democrats and Republicans to cut spending by more than $1 trillion.  Tonight’s agreement does even more by asking millionaires and billionaires to begin to pay their fair share for the first time in twenty years.  As promised, that increase will be immediate, and it will be permanent.”

“There’s more work to do to reduce our deficits, and I’m willing to do it. But tonight’s agreement ensures that, going forward, we will continue to reduce the deficit through a combination of new spending cuts and new revenues from the wealthiest Americans.  And as we address our ongoing fiscal challenges, I will continue to fight every day on behalf of the middle class and all those fighting to get into the middle class to forge an economy that grows from the middle out, not from the top down.”

ap_biden_ac_121231_wgVice President Joe Biden, center, with Majority Leader Harry Reid, left, of Nevada, arrive for a Senate Democratic caucus meeting about the fiscal cliff, on Capitol Hill Monday, Dec. 31, 2012.

    • I thought you were on “hiatus”? ;-)

      • driven to search this and related blogs… though against my minds judgement. heart trumps mind- which has and is, a mind of it’s own and not bound and gagged by the brains logic. missing facebook and twitter even. i imagine i’ll be back there sooner than i’d previously imagined. just getting scholastic affairs in order and consistently checking in here. thanks for responding my dearest jueseppi ;)

      • Thank for returning to check on us Ms. Capricornrising….;-)

  2. Not to go down the road of jibber jabbering about “The Founders”, but I think there is some advantage to a government that cannot quickly enact sweeping policy changes, and that aspect of our government is built into this system.

Generally, if a change is worthy enough, it will overcome the built in inertia and prejudices of the Plebeian House. For example, Health Care Reform. Frustrating to wait so long for it, but we finally got it. On the other hand, the president having war power acts constitutionally reserved for congress has led to an Imperial foreign policy and debacles like Vietnam and Iraq. Likewise, executive initiatives like the “War on Drugs.”

Just sayin… sometimes slower is better. Racist Caucasians will not always dominate the House. Within another couple of generations, Americans will probably have no concept of “race.” But unrestrained government will always be a threat to freedom. The more agile the system, the more easily it is corrupted.

    Just my $.02

    • This that you speak is a perfect system for a caucasian, wealthy, greedy, top 1% President. That system works well for a caucasian male. Where the system breaks down is when American elects a person of color, a woman or a person from the gay or lesbian community and all the old caucasian males can’t just accept that President of a different culture.

Then the system you described in your comment comes to an obstructionist screeching halt…..such as right this minute.

BUTT, it appears in an hour or so, common sense just might prevail. ;-)

      • I would not dispute your assessment of the performance of the system in the hands of these Caucasian Males. But I would point out that in spite of those Caucasian Males, the system allowed for the election of a Black President, and congress people of different cultures and orientations, despite the efforts of those same Caucasian Males to thwart it. Were there less inertia built into the system, those same Caucasian Males could easily create an unassailable position within the system, making revolution the only plausible agent for change. Which, in the case of most other governments, is exactly what happens.

        The system itself, is agnostic.

      • I won’t go into details why Barack Hussein Obama won his first election in 2008, but it was NOT because of a system, it was in spite of the system.

At any rate, we will just disagree on the House Of TeaTardedRepubliCANTS.

I wait for the day that those in the House Of RePukes start to use common sense and logical critical thinking.

  3. The House of Representatives is actually a great institution. It’s the asshole Republicans we need to get rid of! Then it will be just fine.

    • And we’ll never get rid of the evil racist assholes unless we throw this evil racist baby out with the evil racist bath water.

We don’t need this particular “great institution” because it has historically been used to block & obstruct government.

The House Of Reps have always been the ugly stepsister to the more gorgeous Senate.

      • Way back when I was a lobbyist. Back when things worked. I think that the House is always a reflection of the people that put the members in there. And they are the racist assholes. The institution is the institution, and there are times when the Senate hasn’t been so hot either (well, like now!)

But we couldn’t get the ERA through the Constitutional Ratification process. Somehow abolishing the HofReps would be a wee bit more difficult!

Happy New Year! Oh and fuck Eric Cantor.

      • Happy New Year! Oh and fuck Eric Cantor….John Boehner…..Mitch McConnell….John McCain…..Glenn Grothman…..Rand Paul….sorry but I don’t have 2 weeks to name all in D.C. that need to be fucked. ;-)

  4. Have I mentioned the fact that you are brilliant? The House is driving me crazy. The worst since the 1800’s from my reading. We can’t forget the women this year. New challenges. Enjoy your football.

    • We’re both brilliant….and blessed too. ;-)

Yeah, the 112th Congress was the worst live show to come out of D.C. since Mayor Marion Berry and his crack smokin video. I am so sick & tired of a few caucasians running 311 million American citizens lives.

  5. Truly … *it will be appropriate and fair to shrink the house of representatives* …
If … anyone takes their job merely with continued adverse performance … solely as an antagonist … They don’t deserve their jobs … The government will be more efficient with a third of the current members … Who are serious and honest about being a legislator … And .. the government can save money too …
I said a third … because … I know they will push it to half …

  6. I’m not sure this is the answer, but I am sure that something needs to be done. Thanks so much for sharing your perspective. Appreciated.

    • Afternoon Ms. Jamie….

Think about this….if we had no House Of Representatives….the Tax Relief Extension Bill would be on POTUS Obama’s desk for him to sign right now.

Because we have this ineffective House Of Representatives….this Bill is being stuck in the House and not scheduled for a vote until MAYBE tomorrow.

      I rest my case.

Millions of Americans are being car jacked by this do nothing House….all because Barack Obama wants this bill passed.

I’m sick and tired of a few caucasians holding 311 millions Americans under oppressive conditions. The Senate passes legislation, The Reps. obstruct legislation….so why keep them around?

      • Indeed! There is that. :-(

      • I was on unemployment a long time ago, I was blessed to find a job quickly….but what of those who are stuck right now with no U.I. because of these games? I feel for those folks. America is so screwed right this second.

On another topic, I hope you had a good safe New Years eve…and I wish you a wonderful New Year. ;-)

  7. I had not thought about this before, but ya know…I think you’re right. They’ve been nothing but obstructionists. I have a hard time believing that the Senate is passing that many bills that shouldn’t be passed, according to the House. They only care about their own agenda, and that is hating Obama.

Have you noticed that whenever Obama comes on TV to speak and he says something along the lines of what he did this morning, which is, “…and the House should pass it without delay,”…. the House never passes it. They’re children and playing nothing but games. The Tea Baggers don’t want anyone saying that they passed anything the President said should be passed. So, as childish as it is, Obama should start playing these stupid mind games right back. Figure out something to say – or say nothing other than the bill is at the House – that would encourage them to pass the bill.

I bet if they were told the House is being dissolved that they’d start passing bills right and left.

Boehner needs to go away. I have a feeling he will this next election.

    • America does not need two bodies of legislative government. The Senate works as government should, the House of Reps. does not, so simple solution is abolish the House Of Reps. You have House Of Reps. right now saying they can’t support the Senate bill passed early this morning.

The House Of Reps. plans to redo the Senate bill and send it back to the Senate, BUT the Senate has recessed until January 3rd when the new 113th Congress convenes. Now if there was NO House Of Douches…this Tax Relief Extension Bill would already be in the books.

Seriously…we don’t need the House Of TeaTardedRepresentatives.

      • I agree. And a lot of it is because they hate Obama, and in my opinion, to make decisions based upon hating the pres, that is a type of treason. They don’t have to like him, but the do need to put that aside to make decisions. Even the opposite applies. Those that love Obama need to set aside and pass because of the bill, not because they support Obama.

      • The American people are important over any & all emotional garbage.

  8. I’m so sick of them I could spit! They have to go in 2014!!!

    • I agree but it would be so easy to just rid America of that legislative body all together. What do the House Of Douches actually accomplish? So much of government needs to be re-examined for waste management.

  9. “My suggestion is to abolish the TeaTardedRepubliCANT Pseudo-Freudian Psycho-Sexual Secret-Whore Pro-caucasian Pro-Racist Anti-LGBT Anti-Feminist Reich Wing GOPretender Conselfishservative NRA-Gun Loving Nut Bag racist caucasian Party led House Of Representatives.” – This might be my favorite sentence of all time! :) Happy New Year!

    • Thank you thejumbledmind. You enjoy the holiday, then lets get back to work informing a blind lost American public. Have some fun watching football. ;-)

      Happy New Year!!
