I'm really beginning to like this guy more and more every time I listen to him lately. I wish many other political leaders had the intergrity to speak what THEY think and not what they're told and paid to think and say.
I agree, Gov. Christie has become my favorite RepubliCANT. He speaks what he feels and feels what he speaks, with no regard for party politics. Thank you for this post Ms. Michelle.
From Yahoo Sports: It’s no surprise that Nike announced on Monday that Rory McIlroy would be joining their staff. It’s something we’ve all known for months was going to happen, and the company was so jazzed for the No. 1 player in the world to be on their team that they aired golf’s version of the Bird-Jordan H-O-R-S-E game.
McIlroy and Woods are on a range, hitting golf shots and poking fun at one another. It’s exactly what you’d expect from Nike, who continually puts out the best commercials in the game and now has a brand new star to play with.
This could truly be an unforgettable year for the PGA. The pool of talented players with a legitimate shot to notch tournament wins is deeper than ever, but more importantly than that, the sport’s two dominant figures are both primed to give us a huge year.
World No. 1 Rory McIlroy and No. 2 Tiger Woods are both healthy, grooved and ready to roll.
Not surprisingly, this fact has not been lost on Nike. The apparel company has long had a relationship with Tiger and now they’ve added McIlroy to the mix.
How great is that? It reminds me of the classic McDonald’scommercial where Larry Bird and Michael Jordan embark on an epic game of H-O-R-S-E. Just like that great spot, these two superstars build chemistry through their transparent competitiveness.
“The Showdown” – Bird vs. Jordan McDonald’s ad – 1993
That drive to win oozes through the pores of these two, and unlike Tiger’srivalry with Phil Mickelson, there certainly appears to be a healthy amount of mutual respect.
While this commercial is an entertaining spot that stands up on its own right, what it really does at this moment is get me jacked for the upcoming year.

Yesterday, President Obama announced his plan to protect our children and our communities by helping reduce gun violence.
We won’t stop every violent act like the one in Newtown, Connecticut. But if we can save the life of even one child, the President believes each of us has a responsibility to take action.
People like you spoke out and demanded action. Your input, along with ideas from leaders and policymakers across the political spectrum, went into the President’s plan.
Most gun owners use their guns safely and responsibly, and the President believes firmly in protecting our Second Amendment rights.
But common-sense changes can go a long way in keeping our streets and our schools safer — and there’s too much at stake to stand by and wait for action.
The President will not wait. Yesterday, he signed 23 executive actions to start moving our country in the right direction. And he’s calling on Congress to act on four legislative measures — closing background check loopholes, banning military-style assault weapons, making our schools safer, and increasing access to mental health services — right away.

Please excuse me. I know this recipe is redundant, since I just posted Thai Peanut Chicken Wraps, but I wanted a separate post for my Thai Peanut Sauce because it's that special! I want it archived as its very, very own.
This Sauce can be used to dress Asian Salads, served on Veggies, Rice, Shrimp, Noodles. Or used as a Dip for Rolls and Wraps.
