Gun violence control is probably going to be one of those really hotly contested political hot potatoes and according to some news reports I have been reading even some of those most involved in the current push to ban so-called assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition clips are wary of the chances for immediate or significant successes.
Big Money and the seemingly unstoppable power of big gun interests in The United States may be playing a role in this fight (Understatement of the day?) - - - and even I am not so sure this kind of thing would ever enjoy much of an assured victory in today's congress - - especially where some of the more dedicated ( fanatic?) of those who represent the interests of some the very far-to-the-right are concerned.
