Today, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama kicked off the resumption of East Wing and Executive Residence tours by surprising White House tour guests in the Blue Room.

 

Followers of the First Lady’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were given the first heads up that something special was about to happen

On the day tours re-opened at the White House, the President & the First Lady greeted the first visitors

 

 

 

The President and First Lady welcomed guests with handshakes and hugs. Bo and Sunny made an appearance and guests of all ages affectionately patted and pet the pups.
