As the President says, “No one’s invincible. We all get sick, or get into accidents. Life happens. But you should never have to worry you’ll lose everything to medical bills. That’s why health insurance is so important.”

If you’re not covered, don’t wait any longer — sign up today.

And if you already have health insurance, tell your friends, family, and co-workers that they need to get covered, too. Visit WH.gov/GetCovered for tips on how to spread the word.

“The bottom line is I’m going to need you, and the country needs you. And a lot of your friends and peers, they may not know that they need you, but if something happens somewhere down the road where they really need to get to a hospital or a doctor, the fact that you have talked to them and gotten them involved is going to make all the difference in the world.” — President Obama, 12/4/2013

Biden: ‘Everyone is going to be surprised’ by ObamaCare: Joey B. Appears On The Rachel Ray Show.

Vice President Biden on Monday urged Americans to check out the ObamaCare insurance exchanges on the final day of open enrollment during an appearance on the Rachel Ray Show.

The vice president and talk show host chatted about how those individuals with preexisting conditions could now gain coverage, and Biden told young Americans to enroll even if they feel “invincible.” Biden stressed that while Monday was the last day of the enrollment period, those who started their applications now could finish later.

“Get in the queue,” the vice president implored.

Biden also predicted that at the end of the open enrollment period, Americans would be surprised at how popular it was, despite the technical problems that plagued the early months of the exchange.

“I think everyone is going to be surprised and pleased at how this has turned out,” he said.

A White House official described Biden’s appearance as part of a last-effort push to encourage enrollment. According to the White House, 27,000 trained navigators will appear at 8,600 community health centers, among other locations, to enroll interested consumers on Monday.

  1. I posted two videos with all the other posters.

    • Hey stranger, missed you yesterday. How was your weekend? Did both daughters get home safely?

      • Yes, both arrived safely. The artist sent me a link to a close call, but the she likes to scare me.

“Holy cow. Guess what happened to one of the conference shuttle buses”

        http://www.ktvu.com/news/news/local/bus-fire-eastbound-i-80-berkley-closes-lanes/nfNCq/

That same daughter took a photograph of herself about to jump off a bridge. In the background you can see the Twin Towers. She wanted to go up in a balloon on her birthday – thank God that never happened. Against my better judgment I did let her go alone to Italy to study art and it helped somewhat. This daughter’s third grade school counselor called me one day asking me very concerned, why she would want to jump out a window… the school had no windows that high so he thought surely it must be her bedroom window. She merely wanted to fly. And to find a unicorn and to create beautiful music and wonderful art. This is the girl that my support group members kept telling me, “Don’t worry, she is an artist!”

The daughter that is now COVERED BY OBAMACARE is home and dealing with her health issues. Two slings arrived today to cradle her arms and lighten the stress on her body. I wish there were a quicker way to find solutions. Heck, they don’t even have concrete diagnoses yet. BUT, she had a blissful visit with her fiance and got a first-hand of what it is like to cook and eat and wake up next to the same person for a few days. She has fought more battles in her short life than most deal with in a lifetime. God cannot be that cruel for no reason. It’s her turn to live.

As for the weekend, I did not get enough done and my thoughts kept going to my poor dog, buried in that soggy ground. (We had two solid days of rain.) I am so glad I sealed the casket we made. Scout did not mind the rain but she did not like being wet. She insisted on being towel dried and loved the blow drier. My husband still hears her and wakes to take her outdoors at 6:00 a.m.

No matter how bad it is… it can always be much worse.

      • We had my dog cremated instead of buried, and the ashes remained in her favorite spot in out house until came the time we could move past that arrangement. Glad the girls are safely home from their travels. Yes, things can always be much worse than we have them at present, which is why we should never complain.

  2. AWESOME!!! hey Peas, going to Arizona later today for a week or two…Health issues with family ….but still around fb for sue…love ya
