Woman’s Shrieking Racist Rant Goes Viral & You’ll See Why

Published on Jun 5, 2014

“Earlier this morning, a video was posted onto Reddit showing a woman spewing incredibly racist statements towards a black man. The video shows the woman’s two children witnessing her rant, while the man sits calmly in his car recording her comments.
Note: This article contains explicit language that some readers may find offensive.

“You’re a nigger. Nasty fucking nigger,” she tells him.

Despite her use of the racial slur, she goes on to repeatedly accuse the man as the one who is actually the racist in the situation, calling him a “racist nigger” and failing to acknowledge the blatant irony in her bizarre accusation.”* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian break it down.

Seattle Pacific University Shooting Leaves At Least 1 Dead

Published on Jun 5, 2014

Multiple students were wounded, including one fatally, in a shooting at Seattle Pacific University on Thursday afternoon.

At least three people were shot in the school’s science and engineering building, according to the Seattle Police Department.

One man who was taken to Harborview hospital later died, the Associated Press reported.

Officials at the hospital told KIRO-TV that a 20-year-old woman with life-threatening injuries was undergoing surgery. A 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old man are in satisfactory condition. According to the Associated Press, one of those men was not shot. olice say they apprehended the one and only suspect after earlier reporting via Twitter that they were searching for a second suspect.

The gunman, who opened fire in a building foyer around 3:30 p.m. with a shotgun, was disarmed by a student building monitor when he tried reloading, Seattle PD Capt. Chris Fowler said at an evening press conference. As the suspect was subdued, other students piled on to help. Pepper spray was used to subdue the suspect, Fowler said.

The university announced via Twitter that the shooting took place near Otto Miller Hall. SWAT officers checked additional SPU buildings around the private college after capturing the suspect, police said. The campus lockdown ended a little after 5 p.m. as the student union building was prepared to house grief counseling for students and faculty.

One physics student told a Seattle Times reporter that he walked through “pools of blood” when police evacuated his building.

The waterfront Christian university has about 4,000 students and is 10 minutes from downtown Seattle, according to the Associated Press.

CNN’s Tapper Grills McCain over His Bergdahl Deal Flip-Flopping

Published on Jun 5, 2014

Yesterday CNN’s Jake Tapper called out John McCain for what looked a lot like flip-flopping over the Bowe Bergdahl case, and today Tapper grilled McCain about his initial support of a deal he now condemns and ridicules as something that could put America’s national security at risk.

Months ago, McCain said he “would be inclined to support” a prisoner exchange in which the U.S. handed over Gitmo detainees for Bergdahl, but now he doesn’t. And the reason, McCain argued, is because “the details are outrageous” and it’s completely unacceptable that dangerous Taliban fighters will be back on the battlefield.

He told Tapper the deal puts American servicemen and women at risk, and dangerous terrorists shouldn’t be released, even for a deal like this. Tapper replied, “But Senator, they’re not going to free members who are members of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, I mean, it’s going to be bad guys who are released in an exchange for an American.”

As for the charges of hypocrisy, McCain dismissed the “attack by the Obamaphiles” and charged that anyone accusing him of flip-flopping is lying.

  1. So much to absorb in one place, this is my absolute favorite! I just don’t think I can deal with another shooting, it simply breaks pieces of my heart.

I truly love watching our President at work! I especially love when he says i did what I did and it was the right thing.

McCain is a cretin and should sit down, shut up and retire.

    The week in history, nice.

      • I am unable to conjure any reply to horror stories. She is not worth time or space. She is getting far too much attention already.

      • So I will tell you what I think. The person who recorded her, showed great restraint. My question? Why is she being interviewed in the media and not him? Oh, never mind I think I know the answer. She is the picture of all that is wrong with this nation. She is of low character, no class. Clearly, she is ignorant and without a moral or ethical compass. She is not worthy of attention, yet she is getting it. When I see people like her, especially women I am ashamed of the human race, I wonder how we have survived so long. When I see women like her I only think to myself, she is the reason I sometimes believe strongly in forced sterilization.

      • Someone famous once said, if you remain silent, nobody will know your ignorance but when you speak the whole world will see a fool. I am glad she is being interviewed and gettin media attention because the intelligent good human population will see her stupidity.

      • Don’t you mean, more of her stupidity. They have already seen her initial run at it.
