On say can you see, in this country so white
That Faux Spews and the right against blacks they are scheming
Fear of blacks and the czars, whining of the white plight
And the ‘baggers we watched, racist words they were screaming.
They put fear in the air, of our Pres — quite a scare
Just feeding their base – oh but facts are so rare.
They dream of the country of whites that they crave.
And they say it out loud, they have gotten so brave.
And the right rarely sees through the throngs of the sheep
That we want all the things that the right wing opposes
And they just can’t believe, what they sow do they reap
And the race war they waged is what Limbaugh proposes.
We’ve got Palin and Beck as the racism team
With Faux Spews at their back and they’re pushing the theme.
That blacks have their place and the White House they must save
Swelling up with white pride, in a mob they are so brave.
And where is that gang who so angrily swore
When we criticized Bush, the right called it collusion
Are our country and President worthy no more?
Since a black man took office – they call it pollution.
They don’t want to save the hireling or the slave
Or the poor or minorities from pain or the grave.
But the good flag of Dixie they’ll happily wave
And pine — back then Barack would have been someone’s slave.
It’s always the same way when bigots take a stand
On Blacks, and Hispanics they have this fixation.
If the borders were closed, the Blacks made to disband
The black dude clears the White House, they take back the nation.
They’ll do what they must, feel the cause is so just
And this is their motto: “In White is our Trust.”
And the white sheets and hoods in triumph would wave
“White pride” is their brand . . . even if it’s depraved.
“America is back. Anyone who tells you otherwise, anyone who tells you America is in decline or that our influence has wained, doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
This nation is great because we built it together. This nation is great because we world as a team. This nation is great because we get each other’s back.
We need to end the notion that the two parties must be locked in a perpetual campaign of mutual destruction.”
