WordPress Is Officially Known As WorstPress. Beep Beep Boop Is Now Known As Beep Beep Poop.

Unless you have been under a rock, in a cave, on the ocean floor…..you are in the know about how Worstpress has rolled out it’s new blog post editor known as Beep Beep Boop…but it performs so shitty it is now known as Beep Beep Poop.

Thursday evening around 10 PM, like a thief in the night, Worstpress unveiled this fiasco of bull shit editing, on a sleeping WordPress community of bloggers. I, being a night owl, was aware of this garbage the second they forced it down my throat. I didn’t even get dinner before getting fucked by Worstpress. Can you tell I am unhappy? See, I pay for Worstpress services, and if I am going to be force-fed a change so stupid and so unnecessary and so uncooperative to my bloggin experience, I want to have a say so, about such an unmitigated cluster fuck as this Beep Beep Poop editor.

I won’t go into what makes Beep Beep Poop such a disaster and epic failure but read the support threads and you get reasons from “too slow to load” to “it’s missing things I use everyday for my blog.” Worstpress, being the conceited pricks they are, have refused to listen to our complaints and are even arrogant in telling us to go suck an egg.

My response is….if Worstpress removes all backdoor access to the “classic” editor that has been in use since my arrival in 2011, I will migrate/move MY blog to Go Daddy.com and attempt to organize a mass movement from Worstpress to Go Daddy, which will facilitate a much better rate for us unhappy Worstpress bloggers when we sign up with Go Daddy.com as a group. I am pissed that Worstpress takes my yearly fees for my blog, but refuses to take my voice on such a fucked up change as Beep Beep Poop.

As one blogger mentioned, a class action suit against Worstpress is even on the table and being discussed.

Are you hardheaded pansy asses at Worstpress paying attention?

Beep Beep Boop Screen Is Not A Glitch. How To “Get Around” This Dumbass Upgrade.

I awoke this morning, like so many others, to find WordPress had screwed with a very easy to navigate blog post editor,…and turned it into a JOKE. A COMEDY OF ERRORS!

Here’s how to “get around” this new clusterfuck, and get to your old blog post editor.

Pay close attention because it’s tricky…bookmark your “old blog post editor”, once you get to your old blog post editor dashboard….so you are able to return to it when you want to post/publish to your blog.

The link to your old dashboard starts here……

Go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New
http://tamaquaarea.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php and create your posts there.

THIS is what you will see…..Ignore the message and read down to whats below this error message.

User theobamacrat Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested

You are logged in as “theobamacrat” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “Welcome to the new TamaquaArea.com!“. If you are not “theobamacrat”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “theobamacrat” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.

If you reached this screen by accident and meant to visit one your own sites, here are some shortcuts to help you find your way.

Your Sites

Here you will see a list of your WordPress blog sites, and you will be able to click onVisit Dashboard | View Site”

This “Visit Dashboard | View Site” will direct you straight to your old blog editor dashboard. Just click on your “post” icon in your leftside bar, and scroll down to “New” and you be be on the old blog post editor.

It sounds complicated but it is NOT hard to navigate back to your old blog post editor. I know because THIS BLOG POST was created and published using the old blog post editor that was available yesterday.

I hope this helps you whi have had the trouble I have had today with WordPress and their continued efforts to make bloggin on WordPress IMPOSSIBLY DIFFICULT!

Gun Activists With Assault Rifles Harass Marine Veteran On Memorial Day. God Almighty I Wish This Was Me.

By Jueseppi B.

I have felt a somewhat mean angry nasty spirited emotion over take me the past week. I seem to have reached a brick wall reinforced by old Pittsburgh steel when it comes to my already very low tolerance for dumbfuckery from dumbassgunmorons.

I would gladly have switched places with this Marine Vet & been face to face with these gun toting no military service idiots, with a much different outcome than the one we see here with this Veteran.

From Mother Jones:

Gun Activists With Assault Rifles Harass Marine Veteran on Memorial Day.

“Are you gonna cry? Sounds like you’re about to cry.” Watch armed men pursue a vet through downtown Fort Worth.

On Memorial Day this week, a former Marine in Texas named James got a couple calls from friends who’d spotted an unusual gathering in downtown Fort Worth: Roughly a dozen people, mostly men, were hanging out in the middle of the city’s cultural district, armed with semi-automatic rifles. James quickly knew what his friends were describing, having recently encountered an open-carry demonstration himself in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. An independent TV commercial producer who sometimes films live events, James headed downtown with his camera to get some footage.

Gun Activists Harass Marine Veteran

What he saw there struck him as especially provocative. Not only had the open-carry activists come to a typically relaxed, family friendly part of town, they were displaying intimidating firearms just three days after a major gun massacre in Southern California. What he didn’t anticipate was that they would soon be pursuing him for several city blocks with cameras of their own, harassing him and later posting the footage online, where they would also level homophobic slurs and violent threats against him.

Women who speak out have been the primary target for gun activists, as I detailed in a recent investigation. But now, on a day meant to honor fallen service members, a military vet would make the hit list.

James, who asked that his last name not be used, knows his way around guns. He served for four years in the US Marines infantry, where he earned several awards for marksmanship. He is a gun owner, he told me, and a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and concealed-carry rights. But while carrying rifles publicly is legal in Texas, he felt that these guys—supporters of a movement that seeks to legalize the open carrying of handguns—were crossing a line.

“I’ll be happy to smash assholes like him,” said one gun activist online. “Who here wants to help ruin him?” said another.

The men, members of the groups Open Carry Texas and Open Carry Tarrant County, asked him which news network he was with. When he said he wasn’t, things began turning frosty. They pressed him about what he thought of their demonstration, and he replied with an unvarnished opinion that included profanities, language he told me he regrets having used.

“I’m all for responsible gun owners,” he says. “What I was taught was not to wear it around like a gold chain. What they’re doing is irresponsible. It intimidates the public, and people have just as much right to be comfortable in their public environment as these guys have a right to own their firearms.”

Suddenly he was surrounded by about a half-dozen armed men. They started badgering him with questions and accusing him of being anti-American. “I said, ‘Are you kidding me? I served in the military.’ They were trying to intimidate me, and when I didn’t cower that upset them,” he said. But he was starting to feel nervous and decided to disengage and walk away.

In a video obtained by Mother Jones that was posted online later that day by one of the activists, the group can be seen pursuing and harassing James through downtown Fort Worth. “I’m following this guy around,” declares one of them, setting off after him with his weapon slung across his back. He and others stay right behind James for several city blocks, following him through traffic and taunting him along the way. James grows more agitated and tells them off, calling them assholes and bullies.

“We’re being polite, you’re calling people names,” one of the gun activists pursuing him says.

“You’re not being polite out here with assault rifles the weekend after people lost their children,” James retorts, before again trying to walk away.

The harassment continues down the street. “Are you gonna cry?” one says. “Sounds like you’re about to cry.” Another says: “What’s wrong with that guy—is he a liberal?

“Yeah,” the other replies.

“Big time?”

Eventually they follow him to a parking lot (where, in the background, there just so happens to be a Chipotle). As James gets into his vehicle, the gun activists zoom in on his company’s name and contact info appearing on the side of his truck, as well as his license plate, vowing to post it all online.

After the video went up on YouTube and Facebook, James pushed back in the comments sections, only to be met with increasing hostility.

“That guy obviously thinks he’s a badass talking shit to armed citizens,” one gun activist said. “When [the shit hits the fan] I’ll be happy to smash assholes like him.”

When one of the guys who’d followed him suggested posting the video to multiple sites, another said they should “put really gay background music to it.”

“He wasn’t Marine Corps infantry,” declared another. “Or he got out due to ‘don’t ask don’t tell.’ What a fruit.”

“Who here wants to help ruin him?” said another.

The footage the group posted was not the first such effort to intimidate by exposing someone’s personal information: As I reported recently, in April members of Open Carry Texas outed a concerned schoolteacher who had called police in Plano, Texas, and she was soon hit with a barrage of harassment and violent threats by phone and email. James faced similar treatment this week, he told me, with harassers saying he was a “fucking faggot” and “this guy needs his jaw broken.”

James shared his story only reluctantly, but he is also adamant, he says, that what the gun activists are doing is wrong. And he’s far from alone in that view: He has since also received many positive calls and messages of support, he says—including from a couple of vocal open-carry supporters, one of whom invited him to go to a firing range together.

After multiple rejections from corporate restaurants and a wave of negative publicity, several Texas open-carry groups put out a joint statement last week asking their supporters to dial back the provocative tactics. Some hardcore followers balked at that, but now even some rank and file gun activists have expressed doubt in online comments about this latest incident. “Following him makes you the bad guy and could be considered intimidation,” one said. A member of Open Carry Texas—who himself participated in that group’s intimidation tactics against women—also disapproved of the footage, or at least of its public airing. “Nothing about this video benefits our movement,” he said.

Thank you  & Mother Jones.

When I was in basic in my branch of the military, we were taught in the first month of that experience how to disarm anyone who was unfriendly. Be they armed with a K-Bar or toting a SG 550. We were taught that no matter the weapon, if an enemy was within reach of us physically, he could be disarmed in 4.5 seconds if we recruits learned what we were being taught.

I wish an asshole who imagines he/she has an advantage over anyone because he/she is armed, would approach me in the exact same manner as these 11th graders approached this Marine Vet.

I am against guns. PERIOD. The 2nd amendment is a racist joke, and should be repealed yesterday. NO human should have any weapon more deadly that a Louisville Slugger. Guns should be, must be, removed from any sane intelligent civil society.

I own guns, and I own a concealed carry permit and have been licensed since 1985 when I returned home from my 9 years in hell for Uncle Sam. With relatives like Uncle Sam, you never need enemies. I carry daily when I am in the street, you could never tell that just by looking at me or talking to me.

The second guns are outlawed I’ll be the 2nd person in line to turn my weapons in….never be the 1st to do anything (another military lesson from my CO).

On July 13th of 2013 when George Zimmerman was labeled not guilty, I re-purchased 7 weapons to replace the 7 I had given up the week after the Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre. I couldn’t with good mind keep guns if I hated them so much, and that Sandy Hook slaughter turned my resolve to carry or hold weapons.

Then George Zimmerman was set free. That changed my resolve to be unarmed.

I said all that to say this….this video is prime proof why dumbass Americans do not need firearms, including me.

I should not have weapons and neither should any human, no matter how well trained, or how well experienced in the use of firearms.

Before you open your mouth to say “2nd amendment” read this, then shut the fuck up and go sit the fuck down…..

Guns. Some Guns. More Guns. Gun News. The 2nd Amendment.

People like these cretins in this video are why no human that breaths oxygen or bleeds red blood, should ever have a weapon. Had that been me instead of “James”, we’d all have been on the 6 O’clock news.

With them dead, and me facing prison because Stand Your Ground was not created for a Black American. Nor is it allowed to be used as a defense option during trial.

Have a happy weekend.

Father of UCSB Shooting Victim Christopher Martinez: “When Will This Insanity Stop?”

Published on May 24, 2014

Richard Martinez, the father of 20-year-old UCSB shooting victim Christopher Martinez, attacked the NRA and guns in a heartbreaking speech at a press conference this afternoon.

“Our son Chris Martinez and six others are dead,” Martinez said. “Our family has a message for every parent out there: You don’t think it will happen to your child until it does.”

Richard Martinez is right.

His son Christopher was shot and killed in Santa Barbara after our representatives in Washington failed — again and again and again — to fix our broken gun laws.

They failed to take comprehensive action after Columbine. After Virginia Tech. After Tucson. After Fort Hood. After Aurora. And as Mr. Martinez said, “My kid died because nobody responded to what happened at Sandy Hook.”

We cannot stand by and do nothing while 86 people die every day from gun shots. Not One More person should die because our elected officials failed to fix our broken gun laws.

An Answer To Joe The Plumber’s (Samuel J. Wurzelbacher) Asinine Comment: “Your dead kids don’t trump my Constitutional rights.”

I wish I had said this but I didn’t spend enough time giving Samuel J. Wurzelbacher aka Joe The Plumber, 3 seconds of my valuable time over his asinine comment. BUTT a person who reads my blog saw a story I reblogged from another WordPress blogger, and left the following comment……..

Joe The Plumber said…“Your dead kids don’t trump my Constitutional right’s.”

Mr. Kurt Steinbach response……….

Actually, life and liberty DO trump your Constitutional Right to a gun. Conservatives always forget that “well regulated militia” part. The Constitution sets up the framework for government. The purpose of the government is to serve the people of the nation. Its chief purpose is to protect and ensure life and liberty and your pursuing happiness. The right to keep and bear arms as part of a well regulated militia was against the British, the French, a few Native Americans we were in the process of screwing over, and to keep Black people slaves.

Every other right has evolved, grown, changed, and developed over the two plus centuries since the Constitution was signd; the 2nd Amendment was the only one that was unchanged because its purpose, to protect us from invaders was unchanged. Since this countries founding, people checked their guns when they entered the city limits, from the back roads of Virginia to Dodge City. When you entered a tavern, you checked your guns. That was the legacy of the Wild West. All that changed after, you guessed it, the Civil War and the end of slavery…

Enough said.

WordPress Family Award For TheObamaCrat™

By Jueseppi B.

Thank you, Dear Kitty aka petrel41, for nominating TheObamaCrat™ blog for the WordPress Family Award!

I am so very honored you choose me for a part of your Word Press Family.

You’ll never know what this nomination means to me.

Here is what the creator of the award had to say about it:

“This is an award for everyone who is part of the “Word Press Family”. I start this award on the basis that the WordPress family has taken me in, and showed me love and a caring side only WordPress can. The way people take a second to be nice, to answer a question and not make things a competition amazes me here. I know I have been given many awards, but I wanted to leave my own legacy on here by creating my own award, as many have done before. This represents “Family” we never meet, but are there for us as family. It is my honor to start this award”.

I do feel that WordPress has given me a new online “Family” and I am proud to nominate the following members of my family for this award:

Here I will deviate from the norm and nominate every single member I know from the bloggersphere.

A family consists of members of that family you sometimes don’t necessarily like everyday, or agree with, but you are still a member of that family. I have very close WP family members and I have WP family members I can’t stand.

Today this WP Family award goes to every single WP blogger I have known in my two plus years of blogging on WP.

To those I love, respect and admire, and you know whom you are, accept this award as my way of honoring your presence in my WP blogging life.

To those I have fallen out with and can’t actually like as much as I once did, and you know whom you are as well, accept this WP family blogger award as a way of saying, being a part of a family means you don’t love all your relatives, but you do honor the family.

Once again Ms. Dear Kitty, you have honored me & touched my soul with this award. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My nominees for this award…..

Are……Drum-roll Please…..

Everybody I Know!!

Enjoy The Word Press Family Award.
