This forum will focus on the Black experience in America, and specifically in Minnesota, home to some of the worst racial disparities in the country. Topics will include how the federal government can divest public resources from structures that cause and widen our racial disparities, and invest in radical solutions being developed in Black communities and other communities of color.
The forum does not represent the endorsement of a candidate. An invitation has been extended to Hillary Clinton for a similar forum.
**To guarantee a seat, you can pick up advance tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis at the office of Neighborhoods Organizing for Change, 1101 W Broadway, on Monday, August 15 at 5 pm. Tickets are free.**
Doors for the forum open on Tuesday, August 16 at 5 pm. The event will begin at 6 pm.
Livestreaming satellite locations will be available for those who are not able to attend in person.

Community Forum on Black America with Bernie Sanders
On February 12, 2016, we gave space for community members to ask presidental candidate Bernie Sanders about reparations, housing, economic justice, workers rights, and more.
It’s sickening to my stomach to watch #SellOutSanders speak to Negroes and People Of Color as if his lying ass actually cares about those people present at this rally. Now you take a moment and watch closely how Dr. Jill Stein speaks with, and NOT to, the people present at HER Rally on Tuesday, August 16 at 5 pm. Just notice the difference.
