Posting No. 1617: Massachusetts Coordinator
The Jill Stein for President (Green Party) campaign is seeking a full-time Massachusetts Coordinator to support our groundbreaking 2016 political campaign. The Massachusetts Coordinator will need strong interpersonal skills, patience, persistence, enthusiasm, the ability to work with all kinds of people and to keep up in a fast-moving campaign.
The Massachusetts Coordinator will oversee outreach to voters throughout the state, working with local coordinators to implement the campaign activities in those areas.
The Massachusetts Coordinator will report to the Deputy Campaign Director for Field Operations and be responsible for coordinating the efforts of volunteers, utilizing their skills and talents, and providing motivation. Our campaign seeks to empower and build capacity for a new generation of Green Party activists and leaders. The Massachusetts Coordinator will help implement our Young Greens Rising (YGR) initiative.

Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
– inspiring and activating volunteers, donors and community leaders
-work with and helping build local and state Green Party organizations
– assist with local and state fundraising efforts for the campaign
– work with the campaign to coordinate with targeted constituences
– organize GOTV efforts, including literature distribution, phonebanking, canvassing, voter ID and mobilization
– ensure the campaign message reaches voters through a combination of social media and on-the-ground organizing
– help organize and get out the youth vote, including on college campuses
– oversee voter registration drives in each state
– find and open a regional campaign office, if needed
-experience organizing volunteer initiatives, or with political or grassroots campaigns
-ability to inspire and activate people of all ages

Posting No. 1625: Social Media Director
The Stein/Baraka (Green Party) campaign is seeking a full-time and experienced Social Media Director to support our groundbreaking 2016 political campaign. The Social Media Director will need excellent communications skills and organizational abilities, as well as enthusiasm for the campaign and ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment.
Primary responsibilities: The Social Media Director will work closely with the Communications Department and other departments to execute the campaign’s communications strategy and propagate the campaign’s core message.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
-Producing regular content for the campaign’s social media accounts
-Working with social media analytics to inform the campaign’s communications strategy
-Working with the campaign’s communications team as well as other departments to use social media to maximum effect
-Manage a department of 2.5 people
-At least five (5) years’ experience creating social media strategy on a full-time basis at grassroots campaigns or social-change organizations
-The ability to set strategic, measurable goals and set the team in motion to meet them.
-Excellent communications skills, especially strong, snappy writing
-Strong computer skills and proficiency with social media platforms and analytics
–Experience with political or grassroots campaigns
-Strong background in current events and political communications
-A good ear for news and an eye for graphics
-Ideal candidate will have video editing skills as well as graphics skills, including motion graphics
-Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
-Ability to write quickly and meet or beat deadlines
-Ability to work smoothly with a large team and take direction and feedback
-Highly motivated self-starter with a sense of humor and ability to manage stress
